my Blog experience

Is very close to that end of the semester, its crazy how time goes and suddenly come our dear winter vacations. As for English classes, I have a good experience, I learned a lot, because it is hard to write in another language, with another grammar. For this reason it was so much fun write in my blog and has also been a challenge for me. I think it has helped me focus on what I write and how they form words and sentences in English, Speak English is different to write, I think it's a good way to get familiar with the grammar and spelling of this language, I enjoy that.


In my opinion, use of Blog in English classes is very interesting, is motivating, I think it is an advantage. I like the use of technology in teaching and learning process. As a future teacher, I find it important to include such everyday things as internet and other technologies. Although, many times the issues were not all my taste. Sometimes began to write in my blog and I felt that was too many words to the issues, even fought with some issues, because I didn’t know how to continue writing. Moreover, there were some topics that I wanted to write many things, but had to limit myself to the provisions of the teacher. I would have liked to have opportunity to choose topics or choose from some issues, we did it once.


It has generally been a good experience, slowly and laboriously, you begin to overcome, and gradually becomes more natural language, speaking and writing. They say that English is a tool that allows us to communicate in any place in the world. I personally do not believe that English should be compulsory; I think it should be contextualized to what everyone wants to do in the future.

The last Book I read was...

I have a little problem, because I like two topics to choose, I so confused. I like read and eat so much, there are my favourite things in my life, nothing is better that read a book with hot tea and some sweet food like cookies or cake. Maybe listen to music or travel or sleep or play whit my little daughter ... But I choose books.

The last book I read was “The tunnel”; the author was Ernesto Sabato, who died this year, in April, in Argentina, his native country. I choose this book because have mystery and keep me attentive to the plot.

This book is about the story of Juan Pablo Castel, an artist who performs an exhibition whit his paintings. Only one woman sees what his want paint and what his want show. Since this moment he begins follow to this woman like obsessive person. This woman called María Iribarne. When he met Maria keeps a sick relationship of love and hate, lies and confusion.  Finally Juan Pablo kills María and he gives oneself up the police, very regretful for his acts. But, relax! I don’t tell us the end of the book, because in the book, Juan Pablo Castel begins to introduce oneself, from the jail, to the reading that he kills María and tell why he does.

I think that this book is very interesting and mysterious, I can’t stop to read, is a touching plot. I like so much. I recommend!

A beautiful picture.

This picture is a drawing that my daughter gave me for Mother's Day. It is very special to me, because it is the first gift given to me in this day. The drawing she mades  in kindergarten and gave me in a big party with all mothers of children, I met the classmates of my daughter and their mothers. It was a great moment to share with them and with children, we talked and ate a very tasty cake.

Children prepared a presentation, where they sang, danced and recited poetry. Also,  they gave us gifts that they did with their little hands. In the picture she painted me, I think it's very funny and beautiful, I like how she painted my eyes I think it makes the picture more like me. 

It was a very significant picture makes me think of how big is my daughter. Is amazing how children grow and develop. Next month she will be four years old. It seems like yesterday when she was born  and now I see her as independent.

Although drawing is not perfect or badly painted. For example, did not draw the fingers, it is not symmetrical. But for me it is perfect and makes me feel good. Never before had given me something done with her  hands and I appreciate it. It is more important to me than anything bought thing, because she made. 

That makes me very happy and proud to be her mother. This picture is on the wall of my room and show it to all my friends. So, I decided it was an image that I liked and that is important to me. It was the right image to the blog topic.

My happiest day

The most important day of my life was when my daughter, Pía Gabriela, was born in June 2007. I remember that day fondly, it changed my life forever, I know it sounds corny, but it’s true. Since that day, all my days with her ​​are different and fun, but also very tiring.

It was a Monday; I got to the hospital early in the morning, so nervous. At 4 pm finally she was born and was a very healthy baby. It was a hard and tiring day. Was with me my family and my closest friends, they brought us gifts and lots of company, everyone was very happy with the birth. My mother helped me a lot in the first months; I had never changed a baby's diaper!

I was in the hospital for 3 days and when I got home with my daughter; my family was waiting to give us a welcome home. We were welcomed with a delicious lunch and the room decorated for the occasion. They gave us a lot of baby clothes and toys for Pía Gabriela.

I had to adapt the room for her, put her crib and share our closet, also painted the walls green before birth. Now, even shared our room and is full of toys and children’s books, there is no room for me,  my things are in a small room next. When I have money, buy a mattress and set up a bed there.

See her face for the first time was the most wonderful thing has happened in all my life.

My notebook and my mp3

My favourite piece of technology is my mp3, this it’s very small, but you can take a lot of information, pictures or music, if you want. I use my mp3 in the bus, when I go to the hill in my bicycle and when I go walk with my dog close to my house.  So, in my mp3 have a lot of varied music to don’t get bored in all stiles .When I go to the University in the bus I use my mp3 with my phones and sleep peacefully.

My notebook is important to me too, because in there save all pictures of my daughter and my family and a lot of important information of my career, my friends and my favourite music, I use my notebook every day in my home to make my homework and talk with my friends and I like see movies in this monitor, also, I can talk and see my brother, he live in Spain and I can see by webcam. Is so expensive call by the telephone.

 I don’t like lose my notebook, have many important things to me more that money. My mp3 it’s poor quality, in any case, is more fun with music in my heads. 

Ireland

I would like to go to Ireland since I was a little girl, I was read many books about The Middle age that describes beautiful castles and in some movies you can see a wonderful landscapes with a lot of old castles, all is green and mountains are full of vegetation and flowers. I like too the Celtic mythology and their music I would like to look for a clover of four leafs, I think that great. In Ireland exist a big national park call Glenveagh, in their gardens have a exotic plants, even Chilean plant. Besides you can see venados and   eagles.

The problem is money, that’s a big problem! A ticket to Ireland it’s very expensive, and I have no money, but I hope travel some day to this places and take a lot of pictures. Other problem is the language, I should practice my english because in Ireland the english is different and more difficult.

While waiting I Would like to travel to Torres del Paine and Patagonia, This a beautiful landscapes too, and more close. Maybe in the next vacations decide travel with my friends to south of Chile and make a camping.

My music

It’s so difficult for me talk about my favorite music, I like many bands, no band is more important that another band. Any time is ideal for listening to music…

When I was younger my mother and my uncles they listened bands and singers like Charlie Gracía, Sui Generis, Silvio Rodríguez and other classical rock bands like The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin and more. When I’m sad I always listen these bands, I remember my chilhood and feel in company of my family .

I like chilean music, makes me feel good, my favorite band is Los Tres, I love since I was twelve years old, enjoy so much his music. Their band has accompanied me all my youth. Have matured as musicians over seven discs. Even I had the chance to assist a tree concerts to “Los tres” this was a amazing moment in my life, full place to people enjoy, dance and sing with the same music than me. Feel the music so strong in my ears from the band that I like, doesn´t compare with nothing.

 I can´t leave to mention the nineties music, I like his strength and the mix of styles, I love bands like Radiohead, Oasis, Beck, The verve and more
